how to make a ginormous salad

Step one: Realize that between your recently started CSA share and standard groceries, there is a truly obscene amount of vegetables in your house. Vegetables that won’t last forever!

Step two: Grab and wash a handful of mizuna, not remembering that last time you sauteed it and vastly decreased its volume.

Step three: Chop some lettuce. Be unsure of how far in you’re supposed to eat.

Step four: Worry that you don’t have enough stuff – start cooking an ear of corn and chopping up tomatoes.

Step five: Start putting everything on a plate.

Step six: Realize you have vastly underestimated the amount of veggies you just prepared.

Step seven: ENJOY

This salad contains:

  • Lettuce
  • Mizuna
  • Onion
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Sweet corn
  • Bacon bits
  • Cracked black pepper
  • Balsamic vinaigrette

Tastes like summer!
